The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's golf team placed seventh in a field of eight competing teams at the 2022 Skyline Conference Golf Championship.
Top performers
- Ryan Kayton shot a two-round score of 160 (+8) and was SJNY's top performer in 11th place
- Bailey Meyer (+28) finished tied for 19th place, and Patrick Diecidue (+29) tied for 22nd
- Gavin Melandro (+45) and Mile Welton (+62) rounded out the St. Joseph's squad in 34th and 38th places, respectively
How it happened
- St. Joseph's shot a team score of 342 in round one and 340 in round two for a two-day total of 682 (+122)
- Farmingdale (589) finished first, and Manhattanville (638) and Mt. St. Mary (641) rounded out the top three
Notes
- Kayton was three strokes off of 10th place and narrowly missed out on All-Conference honors
