St. Joseph's University-New York (L.I.) Sports Medicine Team is your first line of healthcare access. We are allied healthcare professionals trained in a wide array of healthcare areas including injury and illness evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation, performance improvement, nutritional issues, and general medical conditions. We are available daily and present at every on-campus practice and competition.
 

Our Sports Medicine team is comprised of a supervising team physician and four Certified Athletic Trainers. We cannot do it all, so we have established a large network of physicians of all specialties that extends from New York City to the east end of Long Island. We also utilize a large network of additional allied healthcare providers such as massage therapists, chiropractors, nutritionists, and psychologists.
 

Our team is responsible for the health and safety of over 300 athletes competing in 17 NCAA Division III sports.
