The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's golf team finished in first place at the St. Joseph's Tri-Match on Friday afternoon. 

Top performers

• Connor Riegel led the Golden Eagles with a score of 78, which was good for third overall

• Dominick Glatz was just two strokes behind finishing with a score of 80

• Jace Pesce totaled a score of 81 on the day

• Bailey Meyer tallied a score of 84

• Gavin Melandro secured a score of 88

How it happened

• The Golden Eagles shot a team score of 331, good to finish in first place just three strokes ahead of Mt. St. Mary College

• Old Westbury (348) and Mt. St. Vincent (391) finished in third and fourth place as a team, respectively
