Gordon scored the first goal in a 3-1 victory over Skyline Conference opponent Farmingdale St., The defender also led a backline that allowed just one goal to FSC to help SJLI stay undefeated in conference play. Devin Seara (Fr.) - Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week Seara led the Golden Eagles to a 1-0 week in conference play, securing one goal in a 3-1 victory over Farmingdale St., The freshman totaled six shots with four shots on goal and found the back of the net for the third Golden Eagles goal on Saturday. Evan Skoblicki (Fr.) - Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week Skoblicki finished first for the Golden Eagles at the Queensborough Cross Country Invitational, coming in at 30:19.0. The Miller Place, NY native came in 14th overall and was the leading freshman from Skyline. Nina Vanderhoof (So.) - Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll Vanderhoof led the Golden Eagles with 22 kills while hitting at a .381 clip in a 2-0 week for the Golden Eagles. The middle added six digs, three aces, and a pair of blocks. The sophomore completed a 3-0 sweep of Purchase, knocking down a career-best 14 kills while hitting .429 with four digs and two aces. Elizabeth Kurka (Fr.) - Women's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll Kurka finished first for the Golden Eagles at the Queensborough Cross Country Invitational, clocking in at 23:32.2.
