Men's Golf Competes at Shenandoah Spring Fling 3/13/2024 5:53:00 PM Share: When and Where: March 12-13, 2023 – Bradenton, FL Result: The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's golf team competed at the Shenandoah Spring Fling in Bradenton, Florida. Top performers: Freshman Jace Pesce led the Golden Eagles with a score of 174 (+32), scoring an 87 on both day one and day two Sophomore Bailey Meyer finished with a score of 176 (+34), with a score of 96 on day one and 80 on day two Freshman Connor Riegel totaled a score of 183 (+41), finishing with 93 on day one and 90 on day two Senior Gavin Melandro scored 183 (41) for the tournament, ending with a 92 on day one and 91 on day two Freshman Dominick Glatz rounded out the Golden Eagles with a score of 195, shooting an 89 on day one and a 106 on day two How it happened: The Golden Eagles finished with a team score of 711, recording 363 on day one and 348 on day two Notes: Melandro secured a hole-in-one on day one of the tournament Up Next: The Golden Eagles return to action on Friday, April 12, when they host the Long Island Invitational at Bellport Golf Course.
