How it happened

• The Bulldogs took a 1-0 match lead with 6-0 and 6-1 wins in #1 and #2 doubles. Graduate student Ryan McNeely and freshman Cody Brush earned a 6-1 win in #3 doubles 

• Sophomore Chris Lally earned the Golden Eagles' lone point of the afternoon with an 8-0 shut out in #6 singles against Aaron Brijbukhan

• Brush fought hard in #5 singles but ultimately fell to Maximiliano Monroy, 8-4
