How It Happened

  • Merchant Marine Academy took control early, winning all three doubles matches to claim the doubles point.
  • In singles action, the Mariners continued their strong play with straight-set victories at every position. Despite competitive efforts from the Golden Eagles, St. Joseph's was unable to secure a set in any of the six singles flights.
