Coach Crowley has had a successful coaching career at all levels - high school, college, and Olympic Development. He helps plan, organize, and direct large cross country and track & field meets across Long Island.

Crowley started his coaching career by founding the Connetquot High School cross country and winter track program in 1980. He was head coach of cross country until 1997 and still holds his position as the Connetquot winter track head coach. He served as the assistant boys track coach at Bayport High School from 1981-1992.

Not only a coach for runners, Crowley was also the head coach of the junior vasity volleyball team at Connetquot High School and an assistant coach for the varsity volleyball team from 1993-1999.

Crowley began his collegiate coaching career at St. Joseph's College in 1998 when he started the women's team, and then the men's team a year later. In his 15 years, coach has amassed ten Women's Skyline Conference Championships and five Men's Skyline Conference Championships, including titles in each of the last four seasons for both genders.

Before enjoying his success at St. Joseph's College, Crowley was a Division I track & field and cross country star. He graduated from Iona College in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and received a Master's degree in mathematics from Stony Brook University in 1982. After graduating from Iona College, Crowley became a mathematics teacher in Connetquot Central School District at the high school and junior high school level. He is presently an AP Statistics teacher.
