Ford arrives in Patchogue with a wealth of high school coaching experience. Ford was the head varsity boys basketball coach at Longwood High School for four years. Ford is no stranger to Longwood, where he was the JV boys basketball coach and junior high school boys basketball coach prior. Ford is also currently a special education teacher at Longwood.  Other coaching stops include Sachem North (2017-2019) and Sachem SEPTA clinics from 2004-Present. Ford graduated from Drew University with a B.A in Psyhology and a minor in Business Studies where he was a four year member of the Drew University men's basketball team. He received his Masters in Special Education at Hofstra University where he had a 4.0 GPA. In 2014-17, Ford was apart of the Harlem Globetrotters on the opposition team in Atlanta, GA.Â
