Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's tennis team picked up a 9-0 victory over Sarah Lawrence at home on Saturday afternoon and improved to 5-2 (3-1 Skyline) on the year, while the Gryphons move to 0-7 (0-5 Skyline).

Erika Hesselbrig and Nora Burnett posted the first win for the Golden Eagles in their third doubles match, edging Aileen Rosas and Yini Li for the 8-1 victory. The dynamic duo of Kerri McMahon and Emily Portal collected an 8-1 win of their own at second doubles, as Amanda Post and Victory Panicola completed the doubles sweep with an 8-4 victory.

Emily Portal increased the Golden Eagles' lead to 4-0 with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Molly Rosenblatt in sixth singles. Nora Burnett clinched the win for SJC with a 6-1, 6-2 win at fifth singles.
