Brooklyn, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's tennis team earned a 6-3 road victory over Brooklyn College on Friday afternoon.

With the win the Golden Eagles improve to 4-1 on the year as the Bulldogs drop to 1-7.

The doubles pairings of Mackenzie Martocci and Alana Caporale, and Lindsey Charrier and Erin Hickey posted 8-0 victories at second and third doubles, respectively, to ensure SJC took a 2-1 lead into singles play. 

Martocci and Caporale were dominant in 6-0, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-1 third and fifth singles matches, respectively. Additionally, Alexandra Suslan earned an impressive 6-0, 6-2 win at sixth singles. 

The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday, September 28 when they host Farmingdale State for a Skyline Conference contest at 12:00 pm.
