Bronxville, NY| In its first match since April 23, 2019, the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Sarah Lawrence in a Skyline Conference showdown on Saturday afternoon.

SJC went up 2-1 in the match with a pair of victories at first and second doubles. Senior Ryan Freeley and junior William Vita took their first doubles match 8-5, and senior Kenneth Pettersen and freshman Joshua Turk posted an 8-6 win at second doubles.

Petterson was the only Golden Eagle to win his singles match: a 6-0, 6-1 win at third singles.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Tuesday, April 6 when they vist Farmingdale State for a Skyline Conference match at 4:30 pm. On-site spectators are strictly prohibited.
