Four goals in the second half lifted St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's soccer to a 5-2 Skyline Conference win over St. Joseph's University, New York (BKLYN) on the road on Tuesday evening.

• Junior Emily O'Mara recorded five points on a pair of goals and an assist

• Freshman Emily Farrington finished with two goals

• Junior Julia Cruz claimed the Golden Eagles' fifth and final goal of the evening

• Abbey Curcio and Alyssa Ramcke were both credited with an assist

How it happened

• SJLI's O'Mara opened the scoring when she connected on a pass from Ramke in the 16th minute

• The Bears would knot the game at a goal apiece Mia Castaneda shot off a set piece and found the top right corner

• Minutes later, Castaneda dished to Katherine Barrios SJBK took a 2-1 lead into the break

• Just seconds into the second half, O'Mara's sent a cross into the box finding Farrington for SJLI's second goal of the night

• A penalty in the box led to a PK opportunity where Farrington buried her shot into the top right corner giving the Golden Eagles a 3-2 lead

• SJLI extended its lead to 4-2 when a corner kick by Curcio was sent into the box where O'Mara was there to net her second goal of the evening

• Cruz's unassisted tally in the 85th minute put the game out of reach for the Bears and moved the game to its final 5-2

Notes

• The Golden Eagles outshot the Bears 27-6 with a 17-1 corner kick advantage

• SJLI keeper Gloria Arango earned her first win of the season and finished with three  saves on the night
