How it happened

• The game's lone goal came late in the second half when Curcio sent in a corner kick from the near side where a scramble took place allowing Ramcke to knock the ball into the lower corner

• The Golden Eagles outshot the Valiants 14-7 with a 5-2 corner kick advantage

• SJLI keeper Mikayla Ritter was credited with her fourth win of the season with five saves on the night
