The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's soccer saw its season come to end with a 2-1 loss to Manhattanville College in the first round of the Skyline Conference Championship Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

• Sophomore Alyssa Ramcke recorded SJLI's lone goal early in the first half

• Senior Abbey Curcio was credited with the assist

• Natalie Aracena and Izzy Rosa tallied goals for the Valiants

How it happened

• The Golden Eagles were first on the board when Curcio sent in a corner kick where Ramcke's header snuck by Manhattanville's keeper in the third minute of play

• Manhattanville evened the score later in the half when Aracena's corner went directly into the net

• The Valiants scored the game-winner when Rosa sent in a loose ball from outside of the box in the 70th minute

Notes

• The Golden Eagles were held without a shot for the entire second half

• SJLI keeper Mikayla Ritter finished with five saves on the day
