The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's volleyball team picked up a 3-1 Skyline Conference win over Mt. St. Mary College on the road on Saturday afternoon before dropping a non-conference decision to Kings College (Pa.) 3-0.

How it happened

• The Golden Eagles jumped out to an early match lead taking sets one and two by scores of 25-17 and 25-21, respectively
• The Knights held off elimination behind a team hitting percentage of .387 with a 25-17 victory in the third set
• After trailing early, SJLI used a 15-4 streak down the stretch to claim set four 25-14

How it happened

• The Monarchs took an early match lead edging the Golden Eagles in a 25-23 win in set one before completing the sweep with 25-18 and 25-20 wins in sets two and three, respectively.
