Bronx, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team was defeated, 7-2, by Lehman College in a non-conference contest in the Bronx on Friday afternoon.

The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 0-2 overall on the year as the Lightning improve to 1-2.

SJC dropped all three doubles contests but fared best at second doubles where Tyler Brock and Gordon Shouler took an 8-6 loss.

Shouler went on to secure a 6-2, 6-2 win at fourth singles and Ryan McNeely was a 6-3, 6-2 winner at sixth singles.

The Golden Eagles return to action tomorrow, April 2, when they host Farmingdale State for a Skyline Conference contest at 12:00 pm. 33
