The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's soccer team earned a 3-0 Skyline Conference win over SUNY Purchase at Danzi Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Top performers

• Senior Abbey Curcio, junior Carli LoNigro, and junior Julia Cruz were all credited with goals for the Golden Eagles
• Sophomores Alesandra Melendez and Brooke Esposito finished with assists
• Junior keeper Mikayla Ritter spent the first half in the goal without seeing a shot
• Senior keeper Madelyn Hunter turned away one shot in the second half

How it happened

• Curcio got the Golden Eagles on the board when she connected with a pass from sophomore Martinez in the 15th minute
• The Golden Eagles doubled its lead when Esposito's cross to junior LoNigro found the back of the net in the 26th minute
• St. Joseph's went ahead 3-0 after an unassisted tally from Cruz

• The Golden Eagles outshot the Panthers 22 to 4 and held a 6-0 corner kick advantage
