Sarah Lawrence opened the scoring column in the fourth minute of the game when Carter found the back of the net from a chip pass into the middle of the box from Beaver who was played through by Colvin

The first half ended with the Gryphons finding the better opportunities but SJLI was able to hold strong to keep the game within one

In the 60th minute, SLC's Beaver played a through ball to Balbin who found space in the box to put away the second goal of the match

Just three minutes later Balbin off an assist from Colvin and Carter sprinted into the left side of the box to strike a left-footed shot into the bottom right corner of the goal to secure the 3-0 victory for the Gryphons
