How it happened

• The Golden Eagles hit .429 as a team and held the Panthers to single digits with a 25-8 win in set one

• SJLI broke an 8-8 stalemate with a 12-0 run en route to a 25-12 win in the second set

• The two sides were tied at 13 in set three before St. Joseph's rattled off seven unanswered points and cruised to a 25-15 win
