The St. Joseph's University-New York (L.I.) women's volleyball team took down the College of Mt. St. Vincent 3-0 in the Danzi Center on Monday evening.

• Senior Madison Gremli led all players with 18 kills while hitting at a .389 clip and finished with 14 digs

• Junior Jackie Wolf added nine kills and seven digs 

• Libero Sarah Montefuso scooped up a match-best 18 digs

• Setter Katie D'Angelo tossed 31 assists 

How it happened

• The Golden Eagles broke a 7-7 stalemate with a 6-0 to jump ahead 13-7. SJLI kept a safe distance from the Dophins and came away with the 25-18 win

• Momentum stayed in favor of the Golden Eagles in set two as they cruised to a 25-10 win to lead the match 2-0

• The Dolphins led by as many as seven early in the third frame, but St. Joseph's chipped away and caught the visitors at 22. After an exchange of points, a kill from Gremli and a CMSV attack error secured the 25-23 win to complete the sweep
