How it happened
  • In the first ten minutes of action, SJLI's James Dacos led a counter-attack when he found Pensavalle who would later play a through ball to the right side where Mariani was able to put it away in the upper right-hand corner of the goal 

  • Late into the first half, Pensavalle looked to build upon the lead when the forward found space for a chance but was turned away by the keeper

  • The Golden Eagles would add to their lead in the 73rd minute when Pelaez assisted Mariani for his second of the game and secured the 2-0 victory

  • The Bears finished with five corner kicks compared to the Golden Eagles' two
