The Gothic Knights started strong finding the back of the net in the second minute of the game when Maximo Vargas got through the back line to chip one over the keeper to take a 1-0 lead

With the half coming to an end Evande capitalized on off a pass from Fallas to build the lead to two goals

Just three minutes later and with 15 second remaining in the half Mariani gained control in the box courtesy of Dacos t fire one past the keeper to cut the lead to one

It would be Tobon with just five minutes into the second half who got loose down the left side behind the defenders to get another on on the scoreboard for NJCU

In the final minute New Jersey City would seal the victory as Tobon was awarded a penalty kick, which led to the final goal scored
