• SJLI trailed 2-1 after doubles play with Rose Puopoli and Carolynn Lynch registering the hosts' only win, 8-2

• St. Joseph's managed three singles wins--via Goodyear, Celona and Avecillas Martinez, but it wasn't enough as the Bearcats earned a narrow 5-4 match victory
