On Saturday, the St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's soccer team secured its eighth conference victory with a 3-1 win over Old Westbury.

How it happened

  • The Golden Eagles were in control of most of the offensive pressure through the first half when, in the 30th minute, St. Joseph's was awarded a corner kick that saw Urbancik find the back of the net for the first goal of the match
  • As SJLI entered the second half with a one-goal lead, Buck found the back of the net 12 minutes into action off the pass from Cagnetto to pull ahead by two
  • St. Joseph's would find the back of the net once more as Gambino beat the keeper off the passes from Sweet and Farrington to score SJLI's final goal of the match
