How it happened

• The Rams took control of the game early in the first half as they limited SJLI's offensive pressure and were able to score the first goal at the 24th-minute mark and hold a one-goal lead into halftime
• In the first five minutes of the second half, St. Joseph's was awarded a corner kick, which saw Bayer put a shot on goal that the keeper would turn away, but Gordon was there for the following to put it past the keeper and tie the game at one
• Over the next 20 minutes of play, both teams would trade shots on goal, but strong play from the goalkeeper kept the game level until a Golden Eagles counter-attack allowed Dacos to put it past the keeper to propel SJLI ahead by one
• With just seven minutes of action left in the match, St. Joseph's was able to fend off an FSC corner kick, which again allowed the Golden Eagles' Seara to find space on the offensive side and net the final goal of the game and secure a St. Joseph's victory
