The Golden Eagles started the match strong limiting the Gryphons to just nine points without any kills for a 25-9 win in set one

St. Joseph's took a 2-0 match lead with a 25-10 victory in the second set. Adam Bender knocked down three kills and served four aces. Logan Meyer led all players with four kills

The third set was played very closely with neither side gaining an edge larger than four points, 20-16. A kill from SLC's Davis brought the Gryphons to within two, 24-22, before an SJLI attack error made it a one-point game, 24-23. A kill from Tyler Anderson secured the set, 25-23, and the match sweep
