• Sophomore Allison Goodyear claimed a 6-2, 6-0 win in #1 singles and teamed up with Madi Beatty for a 6-1 win in #1 doubles 

• Junior Morgan Wind secured a win in #2 singles (6-1, 6-3) and paired up with freshman Amanda Andree for a 6-0 shutout in #2 doubles

How it happened

• The Golden Eagles swept doubles play (6-1, 6-0, and 6-4) for a 1-0 lead in the match

• With wins in #1 and #2 singles, SJLI's Beatty added to the lead with a win in #3 singles (6-1, 6-1)

• Andree took victory in #4 singles (6-1, 7-5) and junior Rose Ruopoli pulled out a 6-4, 7-5 win in #5 singles
