How it happened

• The Golden Eagles found success early when SJLI was awarded a corner kick, that led to Saravia finding the head of Pulisic to take a 1-0 lead just 10 minutes into action
• USMMA answered back later in the half after a mishandled ball in the box found the foot of Tallini tying the game up at one each in the 35th minute
• As the second half got underway, Owenburg got a touch on a throw-in from Seara, as Dacos capitalized to fire a strike to the back of the net to give St. Joseph's the lead again
• With just under nine minutes remaining in the match, the Mariners would be awarded a penalty kick as Castoro seized on the opportunity that tied the game in the 81st minute
• As the match entered the 88th minute, a streaking Seara played a through ball to Pulisic down the right side of the field past the last defender, allowing Pulisic to beat the goalkeeper to secure the 3-2 victory over USMMA
