How It Happened

  • St. Joseph's- L.I. had an offensive advantage beginning of the first half, taking five shots over Farmingdale's two shots.
  • The Rams turned it around scoring their first goal at 18:58. Six minutes later FSC scored two goals back to back, making the score 3-0.
  • In the 32nd minute, senior Deybis Martinez-Hernandez scored the first goal for the Golden Eagles. But the Rams answered back with a fourth goal, ending the first half with a score of 4-1.
  • The Golden Eagles tried to fight back in the second half, with senior Nicholas Pensavalle finding the back of the net scoring his first goal of the season. 
  • After Pensavalle's goal, SJLI couldn't score again despite having 12 shots recorded, and wasn't able to beat the Rams, with a final score of 4-2.
