The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's tennis team fell to Manhattanville College, 6–1, in Skyline Conference action. Records St. Joseph's (L.I.) 6-2 (4-2) Skyline Manhattanville 6-2 (4-1) Skyline Top Performers Rose Ruopoli earned the lone singles victory for the Golden Eagles, rallying for a 6–4, 7–5 win at the No. 5 position. Natalie Kopala and Victoria Corcoran fought hard in No. 1 doubles before dropping a close 4–6 decision. How It Happened Manhattanville took all three doubles flights to secure the opening point. In singles play, the Valiants extended their lead with straight-set wins across the top of the lineup, but St. Joseph's avoided the shutout thanks to Ruopoli's two-set triumph on court five. Ruopoli's victory was a highlight as she held off a late rally to close out the match 7–5 in the second set. Notes Manhattanville swept doubles play 3–0 and won five of six singles matches. The Golden Eagles' only point came from Ruopoli's victory at No. 5 singles.
