- St. Joseph's- L.I. led the first half with a strong offensive force, but Purchase's goalkeeper Luca Valeriano denied every shot on goal.
- With two seconds left in the first, sophomore Jack Pulisic scored for the Golden Eagles, assisted by seniors Sean Gordon and Nicholas Pensavalle.
- The second half started the same as the first, but in the 77th minute, sophomore Jack Deutsch found the back of the net, assisted by sophomores Aris Radillo and Devin Seara.
Notes
- The Golden Eagles led in shots 24-4, 11-2 on goal.
- SJLI also led in corner kicks with 7-0.
- The Panther's goalkeeper Aiden Zrihen recorded nine saves in the full 90 minutes.
