How It Happened
- St. Joseph's opened the scoring floor with two back-to-back fast break free throws by Barone.
- The Golden Eagles continued a scoring run all throughout the first quarter, leading 23-0, until CCNY made their first basket to make the score 23-2.
- With six seconds left, junior Norah Williams made a layup in the paint to end the first quarter 25-2.
- The second quarter slowed down a bit for the Golden Eagles, with a eight point lead until the Beavers came back scoring three points from Joseph-Pascall.
- Both teams went back-and-forth with scoring to end the second quarter with SJLI leading 38-7.
- The third quarter was similar to the second, with St. Joseph's leading CCNY in points 12-5.
- The Beavers opened the fourth quarter with a layup 8:45, the first time scoring first all game. Despite that, CCNY was only able to record three more points compared to the Golden Eagles seven points made this quarter.
