Top Performers

  • Madelyn Barone and Isabelle Lebron both recorded 11 points for the Golden Eagles, Barone shooting 6-of-8 free throws and Lebron 3-of-9 beyond the arc.
  • Kallie Eichner recorded eight points (2-of-8 from the field) and three rebounds to go along with four steals and six assists.
  • Gabrielle Andreacchi and Chantelle Larbi led the defense with Andreacchi having 14 rebounds and a steal and Larbi having 15 rebounds, one block, and three steals.

How It Happened

  • St. Joseph's set the tone right away with a dominant defensive first quarter, holding UMSV to just 1-of-12 shooting while Isabelle Lebron and Kallie Eichner made early threes to build a 14–5 lead.
  • UMSV opened the second quarter with a scoring led by Green, but the Golden Eagles came back with strong offense from Madelyn Barone and strong defense from Chantelle Larbi, maintaining a 21-16 lead at the end of the first half.
  • SJLI opened up the third quarter with a seven point scoring run from Barone, Eichner, and Lebron until the Dolphins came back scoring seven points which made the score a five point difference.
  • Mount Saint Vincent scored early in the fourth, making the game 28-25, but Lebron responded with a jumper and her third three-pointer of the afternoon.
  • St. Joseph's took control over of the rest of the game offensively and defensively, and late free throws from Addison Dellaporta, Eichner, and Barone sealed the 48-38 victory.

  • St. Joseph's shot 25.9% (15–58) from the field and 29.4% (5–17) from three-point range.
  • The Golden Eagles went 13-for-31 (41.9%) from the free-throw line.
  • SJLI forced 33 UMSV turnovers and recorded 15 steals.
