The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference match on the road against Montclair, 3-0, on Saturday morning.

How it Happened
- St. Joseph's (L.I.) started the set off with a 6-3 lead until Montclair caught up and had multiple four point leads throughout the set which resulted in the Golden Eagles dropping the set 25-16.
- The Red Hawks had a majority of the lead in the second half, with only five ties throughout the set. Despite the Golden Eagles's fight to come back, Montclair won the second set 25-20.
- In the third, SJLI took a 6-1 lead in the beginning and continued to lead the Red Hawks until it tied at 11-11, then Montclair went on to secure the 3-0 victory ending the set 25-16 once more.

- St. Joseph's served up one ace and recorded two team blocks.
- Montclair committed 10 attack errors and 12 service errors.
- The Red Hawks held advantages in kills (46-28), digs (53–47), and assists (45–26).

- Lauren Goss paced the offense with 43 assists and chipped in two kills, 15 digs, and one block assist.
- Sarah Montefusco led the Golden Eagles defensively with 29 digs, and had one dig, two assists, and one service ace.

How it Happened
- Both teams had a little back-and-forth action throughout the set, but FDU- Florham took a four point led to change the pace to win the set 25-18.
- In the second frame, the multi-point leads by the Devils continued and the Golden Eagles tried to keep up but dropped the set 25-21.
- The third remained tight throughout, featuring three ties and both teams having six-point leads, but SJLI secured their first set victory 28-26.
- FDU took the lead in the fourth set 5-1, with St. Joseph's (L.I.) fighting back for another back and forth set with five ties. In the end the Devils got the win 25-21.
Notes
- St. Joseph's hit .126 as a team with 54 kills against 31 errors, while John Jay posted a .197 attack percentage and served up six aces.
- The Golden Eagles recorded 92 digs compared to the Devils's 90but were outblocked 5–3.
- Both teams tied 50-50 in assists.
