How It Happened
- Mount Saint Mary opened the scoring field with a jumper from Cashin at 7:47 in the first quarter.
- The Knights continued with a 14 point scoring lead which was broken by Barone scoring two points.
- Back-to-back three pointers from Andreacchi and Lebrone bumped the Golden Eagles's score to eight points, but ultimately, MSMC leads 18-8 at the end of the quarter.
- The second quarter started with a Mount Saint Mary layup, Lebron then answers back with another three point bucket.
- Both teams went back-and-forth, with points coming from Barone and Andreacchi.
- Norah Williams landed a layup to end the half 29-20, with Knights still in the lead.
- The scoring in the third quarter was MSMC dominate, making 18 points compared to SJLI's four points.
- A nine point lead by the Knights opened the fourth quarter, then broken by Addison Dellaporta with a free throw and Megan Erdman with a three pointer.
