How it happened:

The Golden Eagles hit .500 as a team in a 25-13 win in set one. Junior Hank Foglia finished with four kills on five attempts, with MacPherson pitching in three kills on four tries

MacPherson added seven kills in set two, lifting St. Joseph's to a 24-14 win in set two. Kropp dished 12 assists with a pair of aces

Purchase trailed by just two, 16-14, in the third set, but a 5-0 run in favor of the Golden Eagles put SJLI ahead 21-14 before completing the sweep with a 25-19 win

The Golden Eagles led wire to wire en route to a 25-14 win in set one. Meyer and MacPherson provided three kills apiece

SJLI held 10-point leads on several occasions in the second frame before taking a 2-0 match lead with a 25-16 win

Sophomore Declan Kerns led the Golden Eagles with four kills on seven attempts in the third set. Foglia had three kills and three blocks as SJLI finished the match with a 25-18 winÂ
