Top performers: Kenny Rodriguez paced the Golden Eagles with a game-high 21 points (9-16 FG, 3-8 3PT), adding six rebounds, four assists, and two blocks TayShaun Hawkins contributed 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-9 3PT) and 7 rebounds. AJ Esposito recorded a double-double with 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 FT), 12 rebounds, and 4 assists, plus 1 block. Mathew Maxwell posted two points, six assists, and two steals How it happened: Manhattanville struck first with a three-pointer from Andrew Saint-Louis just 22 seconds into the game to take a quick 3-0 lead. The Valiants continued to find success from beyond the arc, building an early double-digit advantage as they hit seven threes in the first half. St. Joseph's struggled to find rhythm offensively early, going just 6-for-23 from the field (including 2-for-11 from three) while committing six turnovers. Manhattanville capitalized, leading 35-19 at halftime behind balanced scoring and strong perimeter shooting (7-for-13 from three in the half). The Golden Eagles came out with renewed energy in the second half, outscoring Manhattanville 34-25. Rodriguez and Hawkins drained early threes to ignite the comeback, while Esposito anchored the interior with rebounds and second-chance opportunities.
