The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's volleyball team earned a thrilling 3-2 victory over Baruch College on Thursday evening at the John A. Danzi Center Gym.

Top Performers:

• Brooke Schoppmeyer recorded 25 digs and 10 service aces 
• Olivia Baumann added 32 assists, 12 digs, three aces and three block assists
• Isabella Juliano contributed six kills, six aces and nine digs. 
• Nina Vanderhoof finished with 10 kills and a block.
• Sarah Hansen posted eight kills, three block assists and one dig

How It Happened:

• The Golden Eagles opened the match with a 25-15 victory before edging Baruch, 26-24, in the second set.
• Baruch responded by taking the third and fourth sets, 25-23 and 25-19, respectively, to force a decisive fifth set.
• SJLI took control early in the final frame and closed out the match with a 15-8 victory to secure its second win of the season.

Notes:

• The Golden Eagles finished with 38 kills, 20 service aces, 82 digs and four total blocks.
• Hansen had a .350 hitting percentage
• Three Golden Eagles finished with double digit digs
