After an exchange of points opened the match early in set one, the Golden Eagles strung together four unanswered points book ended by aces from Luciana D'Ambrosio to create some distance, 14-6. SJLI would go on to lead by as many as eight en route to a 25-20 win

St. Joseph's held a slight two-point advantage, 9-7, in set two, but went on to turn it up in the later half of the frame cruising to a 25-14 win. Wolf served three aces and knocked down a pair of kills
