The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's and women's cross-country teams competed at the NCAA Div. III Metro Regional Championship hosted by Stockton University on Saturday afternoon.Â

Freshman Evan Skoblicki paced the Golden Eagles in the 8K race crossing the line 77th overall out of 186 with a new school record of 27:25.3

Senior Anthony Flaccomip followed turning in a time of 28:03.1 to place 89th overall

Sophomore Ryan Steinberg rounded out SJLI's top three clocking in at 28:31.3Â

On the women's side, freshman Elizabeth Kurka led the Golden Eagles in the 6K race crossing 88th overall out of 182 and also breaking the SJLI record with a time of 25:20.8
