Result

The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's and women's cross-country teams ran at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) DIII North Championships on Saturday afternoon. 

Top performers

• Junior Jimmy Mintel was the top finisher for the Golden Eagles in the 8K race crossing the line 10th overall with a time of 28:13.2

• Senior Anthony followed turning in a time of 29:08.8 to place 14th overall

• Freshman Evan Skoblicki rounded out SJLI's top three clocking in at 29:13.2 and a 15th-place finish

• On the women's side, freshman Elizabeth Kurka paced the Golden Eagles in the 6K race crossing 10th overall with a time of 26:58.9

• Senior Emily Medina finished 21st overall with a time of 30:41.9 

How it happened

• As a team, the men placed third overall with 79 points finishing behind first-place Hartford (24) and second-place Vasser (59)

• For the men, Mintel, Flaccomio, and Skoblicki took home All-ECAC honors with Kurka the lone representative for the women
