The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) women's basketball team picked up a Skyline Conference win, 80-51 at Sarah Lawrence on Saturday afternoon.

Graduate Student Charlotte Twohig finished with a game-high 22 points on 8-for-13 shooting from the field, 5-for-7 from three-point range. She completed a double-double with 10 rebounds while adding three steals and a pair of assists

Senior Isabella Sierra added 18 points going 5-for-9 from the floor and 4-for-4 from the free throw line while dishing a game-best five assistsÂ

Sophomore Madelyn Barone added 11 points and junior Megan Spina pitched in with 10 points and six boards

How it happened:

A three from Sierra in the final minute of the first quarter gave the Golden Eagles a double-digit advantage, 18-8. A free throw from junior Gabriella Andreacchi capped the first with the visitors leading 19-8

A 6-0 run late in the second frame brought the Gryphons to within three, 25-22, but the final five points of the half went in favor of SJLI sending the teams to the break at 30-22

The Golden Eagles shot 7-for-11 in the third quarter outscoring Sarah Lawrence 21-12 taking a 51-34 into the final frame

A bucket from Twohig put St. Joseph's ahead 58-37 a couple of minutes into the fourth. Minutes later sophomore Rebecca Vitale hit from long distance giving the Golden Eagles their largest lead of the day, 73-42, before cruising to an 80-51 win
