Set two was held close early with the teams deadlocked at 9 before Mahattanville pulled away around the midway points before taking a 2-0 match lead with a 25-19 victory

SJLI led early on in the final frame but were unable to hold the Valiants off as they caught the hosts at 13 before creating some distance at 20-15. The Golden Eagles never rallied back as the visitors completed the sweep with a 25-20 win
