St. Joseph's was first on the board with a run in the top of the first. Ramlogan led off the game with a base hit to left and came in to score following three straight walks by Montclair starter Tyler Cirone

A Red Hawk single followed by a double produced their first run of the day in the bottom of the second inning

Montclair added four runs on two hits and one SJLI defensive miscue in the bottom half of the third extending their lead to 5-1

Following two scoreless innings, the Red Hawks started the sixth with a double to right before a two-run home run from Sam Angelo pushed the score to 7-1

After a St. Joseph's pitching change, Monclair added one more via a sacrifice fly, 8-1

The Golden Eagles stranded a runner in both the seventh and eighth innings but were unable to string anything together

A solo home run off the bat of MSU's Miles Feaster in the bottom of the eighth capped the scoring, 9-1, as SJLI was retired in order in the top of the ninth

Montclair's starter Cirone was chased early only facing four batters before giving way to Matthew Tiplady who secured the win by allowing just two hits with one strikeout in seven innings of relief

SJLI starter Jack Kelly five runs, two earned, on five hits in three innings and was handed the loss
