How it happened:

The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the opening frame and maintained a healthy lead throughout as they went on to claim the set 25-13. Seniors Mark Williams and Tyler Anderson knocked down four kills each

St. Joseph's held a slight 10-12 lead in set two, but SJLI outscored the Bears 13-6 down the stretch for a 25-16 win and a 2-0 match lead

The Golden Eagles completed the sweep with a 25-17 win in set three. Meyer recorded all of his six kills to lead the attack while picking up three digs
