After trailing 10-5 early in set one, the Golden Eagles chipped away, eventually tying the score at 15. Following an exchange of points, the Hawks broke an 18-18 stalemate with three straight points en route to a 25-21 set one win

Set two saw the Hawks leading throughout taking a 25-18 win. The hosts finished with 17 kills in the frame to the guest's six

A closely played third set didn't see a lead larger than three. Despite two set point opportunities, the Golden Eagles were unable to put the frame away and managed to complete the sweep with a 27-25 win
