The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's volleyball team picked up a Skyline Conference sweep over Yeshiva University in the Danzi Center on Wednesday evening

Records:

St. Joseph's (L.I.), 15-6, 10-1 Skyline; Yeshiva University 1-22, 1-13 Skyline

Top Performers:

• Senior Tyler Anderson and freshman Alex Ksiasek led all players with six kills hitting .857 and .500, respectively

• Sophomore Logan Meyer and freshman Declan Kerns added five kills apiece

• Setter CJ Johnson dished 11 assists in set one with Dominic Ruggiero tossing 18 in sets two and three

• Senior Mark Williams and freshman Umberto Piscitelli picked up four digs each

How it happened:

• The Golden Eagles claimed set on 25-4 with Anderson knocking down six kills and Williams finishing with four and three service aces

• In set two, St. Joseph's won 25-8 with Logan finishing with five kills and Jason Koehler totaling three with three blocks

• SJLI completed the sweep with a 25-8 victory in the third frame. Ksiasek recorded all six of his kills with Kerns adding his five and setter Jesse Rennisen tossed seven assists

Notes:

• As a team, St. Joseph's (L.I.) hit ..423 while Yeshiva finished at -.083

• The Golden Eagles scooped up 31 digs with the Maccabees finishing with16
