The first set was tied at 16 before four of the following five points went in favor of the Golden Eagles. Leading 23-19 kills from Foglia, Q., MacPherson, and Hank Foglia gave the hosts the 25-19 win

St. Joseph's pulled away early in the second set and did not let the Bengals back within five taking a 2-0 match lead with a 25-15 win

A 25-16 win in set three secured the sweep for St. Joseph's who out-killed Buffalo 12-8 while putting up four blocks
