How it happened:

St. Joseph's got on the board in the top of the second when James Maggio drew a lead off walk and came into score on a wild throw on a fielder's choice later in the inning

An RBI double to in the right-cent gap by Ramapo's John Higgins in the bottom of the fourth knotted the score at one

A pair of Roadrunners doubled in the bottom of the fifth to take a 2-1 leadÂ

Ramapo's Higgins walked to start the bottom of the sixth and came in on a wild pitch extending their lead to 3-1

The Roadrunners batted around stringing together five hits for seven runs in the bottom of the eighth widening the gap to 10-1

Sanguedolce was hit by a pitch in the ninth and came in to score on a wild pitch moving the score to its final 10-2

SJLI's starter Jack Kelly let up two runs on five hits with two strikeout in 4.2 innings and took the loss

Ramapo's Jack Martin picked up the win surrendering just one run on three hits with nine strikeoutsÂ
